Unlocking the Value of Real Estate

ABOUT OUR TEAM

PAUL BLUM, J.D., CCIM

Paul is a highly experienced real estate professional who has satisfied clients on both sides of the aisle buyers/tenants and owners/landlords. He gives maximum effort to each assignment and only rests when his client is satisfied.

Recently, Paul has focused on creative real estate – including in 2012 when he brokered the largest office lease in Metropolitan Phoenix (District Medical Group in connection with its facility for Children’s Rehabilitative Services). The transaction comprised 56,000 square feet, for a term of 11 years with a value of approximately $13.5 Million. This transaction also won the RED award for being the best adaptive re-use of space.  Not one to rest on his laurels, in 2014, he brokered the highest per square foot office investment sale in Scottsdale at $303 psf.

Among his recent transactions is the sale of a $6,000,000 office building, a $4,000,000 retail center, a 45,000-square foot parcel to a retail developer, and a 70,000 square foot industrial lease.

He is the author of several articles including “Yes Virginia, Office Condos Still Make Sense” which appeared in the Spring 2009 State Bar of Arizona Real Estate Journal. He achieved the prestigious CCIM designation in 2002 (a designation which is held by only 6% of the commercial real estate brokers in the United States). He is a protégé of Roger Fisher, author of “Getting to Yes”, who made the phrase “win-win negotiations” famous.
